junior graphic designer - sports media

Position Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented, junior-level Graphic Designer to join our Creative team on a contract basis. In this role, you'll focus exclusively on one of our sports marketing clients, creating compelling visual content primarily for social media platforms.

Reports To: Design Leads

What You'll Do

• Design and produce visually engaging graphics for various social media channels, ensuring alignment with the client's brand guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with our internal team to understand project requirements and deliver assets that meet strategic objectives.
• Utilize software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create high-quality designs that resonate with the target audience.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine designs and achieve desired outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in the Adobe Suite particularly  Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Comfort working independently and as part of a collaborative team
• 1–2 years of graphic design experience or a degree in graphic design (or a related field).
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in accurate, efficient data entry across various digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and the types of content that perform well on each.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to take initiative, manage time effectively, and work independently.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant design work, particularly for social media.
• An interest in sports media is a plus, but not required.
