Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing Creative Team. The ideal candidate possesses a collaborative and creative mindset and brings value to our clients’ brands.

Team: Design, Creative
Reports To: Design Lead, Creative Director

Location: Must be located in the US

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• A portfolio showcasing your past work or class projects. This portfolio should showcase your work and communicate your inspiration and process, along with who you are and your style.
• You are proficient in the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• You welcome feedback in the iterative design process.
• You bring a collaborative mindset and creative maturity. 
• You are deadline-oriented, with the ability to succeed in an environment that moves quickly.
• You have a strong eye for good design and a natural curiosity. 
• You enjoy learning and keeping up with changes in design technology and the ever-evolving digital media landscape. 
• You are a strong communicator and can prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical timelines.

Responsibilities

• Work under a design lead on a wide range of projects, from social media to print collateral.
• Be willing to receive feedback and iterate quickly.
• Work closely with Client Strategists to ensure your designs are on brand and supporting client growth strategy.
• Be able to back up your design decisions and communicate them effectively, both internally and externally. 
• Be able to manage your work in sprints through a project management tool while communicating with the Client Strategy Team.
• Have a professional and personable approach to working with the Primitive team and the various clients we serve.
