Position Overview 

The Operations Coordinator at Primitive plays a crucial role in ensuring our office runs smoothly, supporting people and client operations, and assisting process and project management. This role comprehensively supports leadership and the entire Primitive team to problem solve, improve efficiency and operations, and enhance client experience. Direct Manager: Chief People Officer



Office Management

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and serve as the welcome point for Primitive guests and clients
    • Requires consistent presence 9 am-5 pm Monday through Thursday
  • Coordinate maintenance of office building and equipment and liaise with vendors and service providers
  • Manage building security and alarm systems
  • Manage office supplies inventories and place orders as needed
  • Support with event planning at the office


People Operations Support

  • Collaborate with the Chief People Officer on employee recognition and company culture initiatives 
  • Provide support  to improve team processes related to HR, office management, and travel needs
  • Assist new employee onboarding
  • Update and maintain personnel records
  • Maintain technology inventory and leases
  • Manage employee expense tracking 
  • Support annual all-team meeting planning


Client Operations Support

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document processes and maintain documentation library 
  • Assist in high-level project management activities for internal projects, including project planning, tracking, and status reporting in ClickUp
  • Support accounting by making deposits and working with the bookkeeper to maintain client account records 
  • Work with the Client Experience team to successfully execute client appreciation initiatives and elevate overall community engagement 


Preferred Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with vendors to schedule services and ensure delivery
  • Organizational abilities to help document and systemize processes
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technological tools and platforms
  • Marketing agency experience is a plus
  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor to welcome people into the office
  • Initiates projects independently by anticipating and identifying needs or opportunities for better efficiency
