Business Development Lead

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Business Development Lead, your main responsibilities are new client development and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate for this role has an innate ability to build networks and relationships, is a fast learner, and creatively problem solves to accomplish goals. Working closely with internal team members, as well as external prospects, the Business Development Lead will excel at identifying what businesses need and how Primitive can provide it. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • New client development and customer acquisition
    • The building, scaling, fine-tuning the revenue model
  • In other words, developing a sales funnel that is predictable 
  • Identifying and Developing Target Markets
  • Outbound Prospecting
  • CRM Management & Reporting

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Month over month revenue target setting and target attainment
  • Contribution and participation in any strategic planning done at the company or department level
  • Contribution and participation in any profitability initiatives that impact the pricing of new client engagements
  • Quarterly review of performance vs. expectations on both target attainment and company strategic initiative

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:

  • CRM Experience (preferably Hubspot) 
  • 3-5+ Years of Experience in Digital Marketing Sales or similar industry
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, Social Media, Content Marketing, Web Development, E-Commerce, and Software Development. 
  • Moderate to Robust LinkedIn Network 
  • Experience in Social Networking and Outbound Prospecting 
  • Experience in Leading or Supporting Inbound Sales & Marketing

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Well-trained communication and public speaking skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills 
  • The ability to work at ‘project-pace’ while still maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and verbal skills
  • Proficient in GitHub
  • Ability to clearly communicate the progress of a project to internal stakeholders — This includes the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • An understanding of database schemas and table structures
  • An understanding of development and languages
  • The ability to understand and articulate company values and vision to employees - letting that information drive your instruction and support.

Compensation:

Salary + Commission, based on experience
